Roseland Theater – Portland Events

The Roseland Theater Portland, Oregon is one of the most happening concert venues and events spots in the country.  You need only to look at their upcoming concerts and events list to know that they feature some of the most popular, unique and diverse concert and events lists in the entire nation.  Featured acts and talent coming soon feature:  Gary Numan, Snoop Dogg, Ted Nugent, Slayer with Megadeth, Vampire Weekend, Television host and comedian Zane Lamprey and everyone’s favorite, “Weird” Al Yankovic.  No matter what kind of music you like to hear, or what kind of speakers or comedians you like to listen to or see, it’s a safe bet the Roseland Theater has had them at one time or another, or will have them again in the future.  There are many events at the Roseland that are all ages as well, be sure to check their concerts calendar page for all the details.

The Roseland Theater is managed by Double Tee Concerts and is one of the premier showcase concert venues in the United States.  The Roseland has a nice layout which allows you to view the action from everywhere, and you will definitely hear it no matter where you are in the theater (bring some earplugs if you are going to be right up front for some of their kick-ass rock shows.)  The balcony can get pretty crowded, but the visibility is still good.  For the under-21 concerts adults will have to do their drinking up at the balcony bar, and spacing will get pretty tight, so keep that in mind.  This isn’t so much of an issue for Roseland Theater concerts which are 21+ shows, as drinks can be brought to the main floor.  The Roseland Grill, located downstairs of the theater is a nice pre and pos show hangout, providing that there isn’t another concert going on.  That’s right, there is a separate, more intimate concern venue downstairs from the Roseland Theater at the Roseland Grill.  A great alternative to the main stage for the more acoustic and indie artists.  Regardless of what you are looking for you will find it at the Roseland Theater.
